Here it is Sunday and I have not updated one post. Not like there are a lot of readers here. So now that I am home here is the whole trip in one shot.

Scottsdale was so nice.  Love the Kierland Villas.  We had another 2 room villa like we did in Mexico.  Separate bedrooms, two kitchens, two patios (even 2 washer and dryers).Like having your own little apartment.

This is the relaxation part of the trip. Nothing to do, nowhere to go.  Lot's of pool time, and other poolside activities, a little shopping and a lot of eating.

Tuesday we rented a cabana and spent the entire day at the pool.  We had a pager for water, food, drinks, you name it.

Living like rich people for a day.  Wednesday was another chill day as well.

Thursday we drove down to Tucson and started the real work.  Hit one of the seemingly endless mattress stores in the city and bought a mattress and box spring for Joel. Then to Target for a desk and on and on for the small shopping trips.  We got to see Joel's new digs.  It's a rather large house he is sharing with 4 other dudes.  We actually met all off of them, even if it was briefly.  Looks like he is going to enjoy himself here.

Friday I hit the mountains for a hike. Yea check the regular blog for an update on that.  Between 7200 and 8100 ft in altitude with temps in the low 60's. It was incredible.  Came back and we finished up some loose ends, Joel had his bed delivered and he stayed there for the night and set up his room.

Saturday came too soon and we all went for late breakfast, did a tour of Joel's room and did the teary eyed hugs and goodbyes.

The last year is underway.

Good Luck Joel!
