Day 3

So far we had a great time, saw lots of sites and had great weather.  Today we had Grand Central Station, the 9/11 WTC memorial, Wall Street and Battery Park on the list.

The 9/11 Memorial is really coming together.  It's sad and strange.  The Freedom tower is also coming along very well.

Battery Park was still being cleaned up from the Hurricane.  Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty were also closed for repairs still.  

What would a trip to NY be if we did not take the subway?  We took this from the Grand Central Station to the 9/11 memorial and then back to the hotel when we were done.  That would have been a lot of walking.
