After many months of anticipation, the day is finally upon us. We are leaving for Mexico!
We had an early non stop flight to catch. 7:00 AM. Its international so we need to get there a little earlier so we leave the house around 4:15.

Yep thats Joel, one day back from U of A, his junior year in the books. Also pictured is Aarika and Ellee, Aarikas sister.
We land, go through customs, almost get the giant bag of M&M peanuts confiscated and head for the van waiting to take us to the hotel.
The only problem with this early flight is the early arrival. The rooms wont be ready until 4 so we have some time to wander around the hotel. First some lunch.
Maybe some beach too.
We finally get the ok that our rooms are ready. We have 2 rooms, connected. One has a full kitchen the other a kitchenette. We can sleep 8 people all together. 6 was plenty.

Everyone unpacked and relaxed. Did a lot of nothing but swimming and the beach. Perfect start to this week.
